Job summary

PT Penguin Indonesia is seeking a Production Engineering Supervisor to supervise and improve manufacturing processes. You will lead process control, troubleshooting, standardisation, and new product or process introduction while coordinating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and related functions.

You will plan improvement projects using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, and Poka-Yoke, coordinate trials and validations, and develop control plans and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in production, process, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; injection moulding or plastics preferred.
• Proven experience in process improvement, troubleshooting, and standardisation.
• Familiar with ERP and AutoCAD; Lean, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke, SPC, and Six Sigma basics.
• Ability to analyse production data and monitor KPIs: output, defect rate, cycle time, downtime, yield, OEE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production engineering activities to keep processes stable and capable.
• Plan and lead improvement projects using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, line balancing, and Poka-Yoke.
• Coordinate production trials, process validation, capability studies, and ramp-ups.
• Support development and implementation of control plans, standards, and key parameters.
• Develop and maintain process sheets, SOPs, layouts, and engineering documentation.
• Prepare and present KPI reports, project progress, and improvement results.

The Production Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising and improving manufacturing processes to ensure The role leads process control, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, standardisation, and new product or process implementation while coordinating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and other related functions.

Job Descriptions :

Supervise daily production engineering activities and ensure that manufacturing processes remain stable and capable.

Plan and lead improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, line balancing, and Poka-Yoke.

Coordinate production trials, process validation, capability studies, and ramp-up activities for new products or processes.

Support the development and implementation of control plans, process standards, and critical parameter controls.

Develop, review, and maintain process sheets, parameter standards, SOPs, work instructions, layouts, and engineering,

Prepare and present engineering KPI reports, project progress, technical issues, and improvement results.

Job Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Electrical Engineering.

At least 5-7 years of experience in production, process, or manufacturing engineering.

Experience in a manufacturing environment, injection moulding or plastic manufacturing experience is preferred.

Proven experience in process improvement, technical troubleshooting, standardisation, and new product or process.

Familiar with ERP, Autocad, and problem-solving methods.

Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke, SPC, and basic Six Sigma principles.

Ability to analyse production data and monitor KPIs such as output, defect rate, cycle time, downtime, yield, and OEE.

Working Days (Monday–Saturday).

Willing to be placed in Kamal Muara - North Jakarta & Karawang - West Java.
