Job summary

EXO Travel Indonesia is seeking a Product Development Officer to support the Product Manager in shaping and distributing Bali-focused products and services. You will help ensure EXO's offerings reflect the brand image and customer experience across channels.

The role involves creating trainings, updating product materials, and coordinating with Bangkok Head Office to share weekly updates with management and agents. A background in hospitality or tourism is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or related field.
• 2 years' experience in tourism product, sales and/or marketing or similar role.
• Excellent command of English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong product knowledge of destinations and comprehensive travel industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain training presentations and deliver product trainings.
• Create and update fact sheets and information files.
• Develop annual Optional Tour Booklet Production.
• Work with TP and Database Team to price and update EXO experiences and roundtrips.

Job description

The Product Development Officer will work closely with the Product Manager providing support for the development and distribution of products. Working in the Product Department, the primary objectives are to identify product needs, gaps, and opportunities of products especially in Bali. This would include accommodation, attraction, sights, and services. The Product Development Officer will work to assist the Product Manager in ensuring that EXO's product and service offerings reflect the image and experience being portrayed and marketed externally.

Key responsibilities

Create and maintain training presentations and deliver product trainings

Create and update fact sheets and other information files and sheets

Create Optional Tour Booklet Production annually

Work with TP and Database Team to create pricing and update EXO experiences and roundtrips (Travel Trade and Offline)

Research and conduct product development in Bali and other destinations of Indonesia, including itinerary writing and quotation (PCM)

Communicate and produce creation for Agents and sales offices

Create ENL/Explorer/ProGuide content

Act as the key contact to Bangkok Head Office

Create and disseminate weekly product update report mails to Management and all related departments

Create and disseminate biweekly/monthly external product update mails to agents, sales offices and product team in Head Office

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or other related field

2 years' experience in Tourism product, sales and/or marketing or a similar role

Excellent command of both written and spoken English and French

Team player with a positive and dynamic personality

Good product knowledge of the destinations

Comprehensive travel industry knowledge

Ability to work under pressure and flexible to work outside of regular office hours

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organization skills

Ability to take decisions and solve problems independently

Good computer literacy (MS Office, G-Suite, project management tools, design platforms, and CRM)
