Job summary

EXO Travel Co. is seeking a Product Development Officer to support the Product Manager in developing and distributing products, with a focus on Bali. You will help identify product needs, gaps, and opportunities across accommodation, attractions, sights, and services.

You will ensure EXO’s offerings reflect the brand image and guest experience marketed externally, working closely with Product, Sales, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or related field.
• 2 years’ experience in Tourism product, sales and/or marketing or similar role.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Team player with a positive and dynamic personality.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain training presentations, deliver product trainings.
• Create and update fact sheets and other information files and sheets.
• Create Optional Tour Booklet Production annually.
• Coordinate pricing and updates for EXO experiences with TP and Database Team.
• Research and develop Bali and Indonesia itineraries, including quotations.
• Communicate and produce content for Agents and sales offices.
• Create ENL/Explorer/ProGuide content.
• Serve as key contact to Bangkok Head Office.
• Disseminate weekly product update reports to Management and departments.
• Disseminate biweekly/monthly product updates to agents and offices.
• Provide weekly progress reports to Product Manager on Fridays.
• Maintain clear communication through regular mail exchanges on product development.

Job description

The Product Development Officer will work closely with Product Manager providing support for the development and distribution of product. Working in Product Department, the primary objectives are to identify product needs, gaps, and opportunity of products especially in Bali. This would include accommodation, attraction, sights, and services.

The Product Development Officer will work to assist Product Manager in ensuring that the EXO’s product and service offerings reflect the image and experience being portrayed and marketed in the exterior.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain training presentations, deliver product trainings;
• Create and update fact sheets and other information files and sheets;
• Create Optional Tour Booklet Production annually;
• Work with TP and Database Team to create pricing and updating EXO experiences and roundtrips (Travel Trade and Offline);
• Research and conduct product development in Bali, and other destinations of Indonesia, including itinerary writing & quotation (PCM);
• Communicate and produce creation for Agents and also our sales offices;
• Creating ENL/Explorer/ProGuide content;
• Act as the key contact to Bangkok Head Office;
• Create and disseminate weekly product update report mails to Management and all department related (Inbound, Adventure, MICE, Operation, and Product);
• Create and disseminate biweekly/monthly external product update mails to agents, sales offices and product team in Head Office;
• Create weekly short report to Product Manager on weekly progress and next week pending goals update every Friday;
• Maintain a clear communication and update by doing regular mail exchange on product development and findings with Product Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or other related field
• 2 years’ experience in Tourism product, sales and/or marketing or a similar role.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English (other foreign language is a plus).
• Team player with a positive and dynamic personality
