Job summary

PT Kartanegara Energi Perkasa seeks an experienced Procurement Supervisor to manage technical procurement supporting the Senipah power plant. Based in Jakarta with potential travel to East Kalimantan, you will oversee supplier qualification, lead price/term negotiations, and ensure compliant, timely deliveries.

The role requires a engineering degree and 3+ years in technical procurement for industrial goods, with knowledge of Indonesian import procedures and a background in power generation

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Procurement Supervisor to oversee technical procurement activities that support reliable and efficient power plant operations and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end procurement of technical goods and services, including spare parts, industrial equipment, and services required for power plant operations and maintenance.

Source, assess, and qualify suppliers; evaluate their performance; and build long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.

Lead negotiations on pricing, contractual terms, and payment conditions to secure optimal value without compromising quality or reliability.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures, budgetary requirements, operational priorities, and delivery schedules.

Coordinate import-export activities and international shipments, including customs clearance, in compliance with applicable Indonesian customs regulations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, domestic and overseas suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely and efficient procurement and delivery.

Support procurement planning, monitor supplier performance, and identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and operational reliability.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

At least 3 years of relevant experience in technical procurement of industrial goods and services.

Hands-on experience in import-export operations, with a sound understanding of Indonesian customs regulations, import procedures, and customs clearance.

Experience in the power generation industry, particularly in a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP/PLTGU), is a strong advantage.

Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Proficiency in written and spoken English, with experience communicating and coordinating directly with overseas suppliers.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet tight deadlines.

Willing to be based at Head Office in Kuningan, South Jakarta.

Willingness to travel to the PLTGU Senipah site in East Kalimantan as required.
