Job summary

PT Inno Prima Material in Indonesia is seeking a seasoned procurement professional responsible for full management of the procurement process for production materials, equipment, and spare parts in the Indonesian region.

The role requires developing procurement plans, sourcing suppliers, negotiating terms, controlling contracts, performing cost analyses, and ensuring compliant import/export and logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in procurement, supply chain, logistics or engineering.
• Proficient in English; Indonesian language is a plus.
• At least 5 years in procurement with 2+ years in Indonesia; manufacturing procurement preferred.
• Ability to perform data analysis, break down costs and manage costs.
• Familiar with Indonesia import/export policies and customs clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement process for production materials, equipment, spare parts, and other items in Indonesia.
• Develop procurement plans to ensure stable production supply.
• Source suppliers, compare prices, negotiate terms, and manage contract compliance to optimize procurement costs and delivery timelines.
• Perform cost breakdown and data analysis to generate cost optimization solutions.
• Coordinate import/export, customs clearance, and logistics operations in Indonesia.
• Monitor PO execution, receipt and inspection, and handle anomalies while ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Maintain purchase records, reports, and documents in line with local regulations.

Job description

• Responsible for the full management of the procurement process for production materials, equipment, spare parts, and other items in the Indonesian region.
• Develop procurement plans to ensure stable production supply.
• Develop suppliers, source materials, compare prices, negotiate terms, and control contract compliance to optimize procurement costs and delivery timelines.
• Perform cost breakdown and data analysis, generate cost optimization solutions, and enhance procurement efficiency.
• Familiarity with local sourcing resources in Indonesia, maintenance of a high-quality supplier network, and evaluation of suppliers’ qualifications and delivery capabilities.
• Responsible for coordinating Indonesia’s import and export business. Skilled in handling customs clearance and logistics processes, and well-versed in local customs clearance regulations and logistics channels.
• Monitor the execution of purchase orders, receipt and inspection of goods, and handling of anomalies (quality, delivery, after-sales service), ensuring that the processes are compliant and efficient.
• Adhere to Indonesia’s local trade policies, customs regulations, and company procurement procedures, and complete the management of purchase records, reports, and documents.

2.Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher; relevant fields such as procurement management, supply chain, logistics, and engineering are preferred.
• Language skills: Proficient in English (fluent in speaking, listening, reading, and writing; capable of independent business communication and document reading/writing); Indonesian language is a plus.
• Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in procurement-related roles, with at least 2 years of experience working in Indonesia; preference for experience in manufacturing procurement.
• Professional competence: Ability to perform basic data analysis, break down procurement costs, and manage costs effectively.
• Gain insight into the upstream and downstream channels for purchasing materials and equipment in Indonesia, as well as the current state of the industry market.
• Familiar with Indonesia’s import and export policies and customs clearance requirements, with practical experience in customs clearance and logistics operations.
• Overall Qualifications: Proficient in the entire procurement process; possesses strong business negotiation, supplier management, and problem-solving abilities. Works diligently and responsibly, and is adaptable to working in a foreign environment.
