Job summary

PT Surabaya Mekabox is seeking a commercially minded Procurement Specialist to secure material availability while driving cost efficiency and supplier reliability across manufacturing operations. You will manage sourcing, quotes, POs, and delivery monitoring to optimize procurement performance and supplier partnerships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of procurement experience, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any major.
• 2–3 years of procurement/purchasing experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• English and Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus for supplier communications and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement including sourcing, quotation comparison, PO processing, and delivery monitoring.
• Drive cost efficiency by analyzing prices, negotiating with suppliers, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage supplier performance by evaluating and developing relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure supply continuity by coordinating with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to meet material requirements.
• Analyze data to support procurement decisions and continuously improve purchasing processes.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

2. Drive Cost Efficiency — analyze prices, negotiate with suppliers, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
3. Manage Supplier Performance — evaluate, develop, and maintain fruitful relationships with suppliers.
4. Ensure Supply Continuity — collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to meet material requirements.
5. Analyze & Improve — use procurement data to support decisions and continuously improve purchasing processes.
6. Maintain Compliance — ensure procurement activities and documentation follow company policies and applicable regulations.

What We’re Looking For :
