Job summary

PT Hyundai Engineering Indonesia Facility Management is seeking a procurement professional to manage sourcing, negotiations, and vendor relationships for building management services.

You will handle material purchasing for operational, repair, construction, maintenance, and facility needs, coordinate delivery schedules, ensure policy compliance, and drive cost savings. Strong English and collaboration with cross-functional teams are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably with exposure to material purchasing, maintenance, or facility-related procurement.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Good understanding of material purchasing processes, including sourcing, quotation comparison, PO processing, and delivery follow-up.
• Strong ability to monitor and coordinate material deliveries to meet required timelines.
• Good understanding of procurement compliance, company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate vendor sourcing, selection, and relationship management to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and quality.
• Handle material purchasing for operational, repair, construction, maintenance, and facility requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and conduct price and commercial negotiations to achieve competitive costs and favorable delivery terms.
• Prepare and manage procurement processes, including quotation comparisons, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related documentation.
• Monitor material delivery schedules and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery according to specifications.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, delivery issues, material discrepancies, and vendor performance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, purchasing documentation, and transaction records.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procurement procedures, compliance requirements, and applicable safety standards.
• Evaluate and monitor vendor performance based on quality, price, delivery, responsiveness, and compliance.
• Support cost-optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings and procurement efficiency.
• Ensure proper documentation and an audit trail for all procurement activities.
