Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• 10–15 years of professional procurement or sourcing experience in manufacturing/logistics.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aligned with company objectives.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle including requisition, supplier selection, PO processing and contract management.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure best pricing, quality and delivery terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews for SLA compliance.
• Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams with operations, finance and warehouse to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Prepare procurement reports and budgets and monitor expenditure against budgets.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, policies and ethical sourcing.
• Manage procurement systems and tools, ensuring accurate data entry and system maintenance.

About the role

PT Krama Yudha Ratu Motor is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in East Jakarta. In this strategic role, you will oversee all procurement activities and lead the development of sourcing strategies that drive operational efficiency and cost savings across the organisation. As Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely acquisition of quality materials and services whilst maintaining strong supplier relationships and compliance with company policies. This position is essential to supporting our manufacturing and logistics operations and directly impacts our ability to meet production targets and maintain competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies and policies aligned with company objectives
• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, including requisition, supplier selection, purchase order processing and contract management
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality and delivery terms
• Maintain and monitor supplier performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with service level agreements
• Oversee inventory management processes to optimise stock levels and reduce carrying costs
• Analyse market trends and commodity pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with operations, finance and warehouse departments to ensure seamless procurement operations
• Prepare procurement reports and budgets, monitoring expenditure against allocated budgets
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, company policies and ethical sourcing standards
• Manage procurement systems and tools, ensuring accurate data entry and system maintenance

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field
• Minimum of 10 - 15 years of professional procurement or sourcing experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment with total working experience in all field around 25 years
• Candidates with experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry are highly encouraged to apply
• Proven track record of cost reduction and supplier performance management
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills with demonstrated success in securing favourable supplier terms
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management and supply chain best practices
• Proficiency with procurement systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in procurement and logistics
