About the role
We are seeking a Finance Assistant Manager to join our finance team in East Jakarta, Jakarta on a full-time basis. In this strategic position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and reporting functions of PT Krama Yudha Ratu Motor. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and the delivery of timely financial reports that drive informed business decisions. You also support in internal control and process audit to support the fairness process in company.
Key responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day financial accounting activities and maintaining accurate general ledger records
- Preparing, reviewing and reconciling financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the development and implementation of financial reporting procedures and controls
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing and collections
- Conducting regular account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Supporting internal and external audit activities, including the provision of requested documentation and explanations
- Conduct and support internal and process audit to ensure the implementation of compliance policy
- Conducting internal control and audit process
- Monitoring budget performance and assisting with variance analysis and reporting
- Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards and relevant regulations
- Supporting the implementation of accounting software and systems improvements
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Around 10 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting or a similar role, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and best practices, including familiarity with relevant financial reporting frameworks
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and AutoCount
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy in financial records and reporting
- Sound understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information
- Preferred experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures, tax compliance or internal controls
