Job summary

Macmahon Mining Service in Jakarta is seeking a Track and Expedite Purchase Orders specialist to monitor open orders and ensure timely delivery of materials, parts, equipment, and services. You will coordinate with suppliers, freight providers, warehouse, and end users to resolve delays, keep records current, and support compliance across purchasing activities.

Strong attention to detail and communication are essential; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in expediting, purchasing administration, logistics, procurement, compliance, or supply chain support.
• Good understanding of purchase orders, supplier follow-up, delivery tracking, document control, and procurement compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-up discipline, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or similar systems will be an advantage.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal, will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Track and expedite open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Communicate with suppliers, freight providers, warehouse, and end users to resolve delays, documentation gaps, and order discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement records, including purchase orders, quotations, delivery updates, compliance documents, and supplier correspondence.
• Monitor supplier commitment dates and provide regular expending reports to purchasing and operations stakeholders.
• Support compliance monitoring for purchasing activities, including approval requirements, vendor documentation, audit readiness, and internal procedure adherence.
• Identify potential supply risks, escalation is early, and recommend corrective actions to minimize operational disruption.
• Assist with invoice matching, goods receipt follow-up, and closure of outstanding procurement actions.
