Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a procurement and logistics specialist in Jakarta Selatan to manage supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and shipment coordination. Job description

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors for pricing, quality, and delivery terms
• Issue purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities
• Conduct cost comparisons and support cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
• Track and manage procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on purchasing requirements and timelines
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouses
• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve delivery issues or delays
• Manage inventory levels to support operational requirements
• Prepare and review shipping documents, customs documentation, and delivery records
• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate stock movement
• Support demand planning and inventory forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
• Maintain accurate procurement and logistics data in ERP or inventory systems
• Prepare reports on purchasing, inventory, and logistics performance
• Monitor supplier KPIs and logistics service performance

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Experience in IT hardware, electronics or related
• Experience in procurement sourcing, inventory management, and shipping documentation
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Familiarity with import/export procedures and Incoterms
• Strong negotiation (pricing & quotation) and vendor management skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
