Job description

Develop and implement competitive, profitable pricing strategies for marine agency, crew formalities, and logistics services, tailoring solutions to each client's specific needs and project scope

Negotiate preferred vendor rates for key accounts and continuously optimize pricing by monitoring local regulations, market trends, competitor and vendor rates, and project requirements

Partner with stakeholders to understand client needs and challenges, providing ongoing support and adjusting pricing models as demand, scope, or market conditions change

Leverage data analytics and tools such as Excel and Port 360 to track pricing performance and profitability, generating reports that identify cost-saving and revenue opportunities

Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and BD teams on service delivery capabilities, and with Finance to ensure pricing submissions meet internal financial goals and budget constraints

Serve as the primary point of contact for client pricing inquiries, delivering fast, accurate responses and proactively adapting strategies to strengthen long-term relationships

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime, Business Administration, or related field, with relevant marine agency & logistics qualifications
• Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics, shipping, maritime, or freight forwarding, ideally with exposure to bid, tender, quotation, or commercial support functions
• Solid knowledge of Marine Agency, Crew Formalities, Customs Clearance, and the Oil & Gas sector, plus a good understanding of commercial pricing, cost structures, and the tendering process
• Skilled in cost analysis, vendor negotiation, and developing competitive pricing for tenders and spot inquiries
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and inter-offices
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with tender management systems and Mandarin proficiency are both a plus
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple enquiries and tenders under tight deadlines
• Proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated, with the initiative to work independently and collaborate effectively across cross-functional, multicultural teams
• Strong customer-centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally as required
