PT. Henwa Internasional Logistik seeks a pricing specialist to develop competitive pricing for air, sea, and land forwarding services, including export, import, and domestic.
Develop and establish competitive pricing structures for air, sea, and land forwarding services ( export, import,domestic) based on market analysis and cost calculations
Analyse freight costs, fuel surcharges, and operational expenses to determine appropriate pricing margins
Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market trends to ensure our rates remain competitive and aligned with industry standards
Prepare detailed quotations and pricing proposals for clients based on their specific shipping requirements
Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to optimise costs whilst maintaining service quality
Review and adjust pricing on a regular basis to reflect changes in market conditions, currency fluctuations, and operational costs
Collaborate with the sales team to provide pricing information that supports business development and client acquisition efforts
Maintain accurate pricing databases and documentation for all forwarding services offered
Analyse profitability by route, service type, and customer segment to identify opportunities for improvement
Ensure pricing compliance with company policies and contractual obligations with clients and carriers
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics pricing
Strong understanding of international shipping practices, including air freight, ocean freight, and inland transportation
Knowledge of incoterms, customs regulations, and international trade practices
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with carriers and suppliers
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple pricing projects simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred
Experience with freight forwarding management systems (FFMS) is advantageous
