Job summary

The Cakap Group Indonesia is hiring a General Manager - Pre-Opening Restaurant for Tone All Day Lounge in Canggu, Bali. You will lead pre-opening planning, staff recruitment, and operational set-up to launch a premier hospitality venue.

Working closely with the Owner and Director, you will shape SOPs, guest experience standards, and cross‑department collaboration, ensuring a warm, refined, and consistent guest journey from day one onward.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in restaurant management or senior leadership.
• Experience with pre-opening concepts and launches.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations and budgets.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete pre-opening process for the venue, ensuring readiness for launch.
• Develop and monitor pre-opening timelines, budgets, and checklists.
• Collaborate with Owner/Director to translate brand vision into operational standards.
• Implement SOPs, service standards, workflows and cost controls across departments.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and development of pre-opening team.
• Build a high-performing team culture centered on hospitality and accountability.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, coffee and service teams for seamless operations.
• Establish opening/closing procedures and daily checklists.
• Manage supplier sourcing, inventory and cost controls.
• Monitor revenue, labor, COGS and operating expenses.
