Job summary

Masa Mia in Berawa, Bali, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the pre-opening phase and continue operations after launch. You will coordinate opening activities with the director, organize vendors, recruitment, staffing and training, and ensure a smooth launch of a new venue in Bali.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant pre-opening/opening experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in Bali's hospitality industry is a strong advantage.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience recruiting, training and managing restaurant staff.
• Organized, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Comfortable coordinating multiple suppliers, workers and service providers.
• Familiarity with POS, inventory and delivery-platform systems.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the director to coordinate the restaurant opening.
• Help organize cleaners, technicians, inspectors and other service providers.
• Assist with recruitment, interviews, staffing and staff training.
• Help coordinate suppliers and other operational partners.
• Assist with licensing and compliance requirements together with our consultants.
• Help prepare operational documents, SOPs and staff procedures.
• Assist with setting up POS, inventory and delivery-platform systems.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
• Lead, organize and supervise the restaurant team.
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and organization.
