Job summary

PT Sumberdaya Sewatama is seeking a Technical Trainer Specialist to build technical capabilities and accelerate workforce readiness across our operations. The role converts field expertise into sustainable organizational knowledge, driving operational excellence and long-term growth.

The candidate will design a comprehensive learning architecture, develop training materials, and collaborate with site leaders and SMEs to elevate workforce competency and safety standards across the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum vocational education (SMK) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Bachelor's Degree (D4/S1) in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Operator, Technician, or technical practitioner within power generation, energy, utilities, industrial operations, or related sectors.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience as a Site Leader, Supervisor, Foreman, Team Leader, or equivalent field leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge in power generation systems, engines, mechanical and electrical systems, control & instrumentation, troubleshooting, reliability, and safety standards.
• Proven ability to train, coach, mentor, and develop technical talent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical competency and workforce capability assessments to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
• Design and develop a Technical Learning Architecture with competency frameworks and career development programs.
• Develop and deliver technical learning solutions via classroom, coaching, on-the-job, and blended approaches.
• Partner with Performance Management, Site Management, and SMEs to strengthen workforce capability.
• Capture field experience into competency standards, training materials, and knowledge repositories.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve development programs.
