Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Plant Controller, Manager to act as a trusted finance business partner to the plant leadership, driving performance and enabling strategic decisions. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance management to support operational excellence.

The role requires strong analytical skills, manufacturing finance/controlling experience, and fluency in English to collaborate across functions and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Audit, or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience in manufacturing finance/operations controlling or cost accounting is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Fluent English with good communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key finance business partner for plant management and support strategic decision-making.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance management.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve cash flow, inventory, and CAPEX performance.
• Support business transformation, operational improvement, and investment projects.
• Ensure strong financial governance through robust processes, controls, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Involvement in regional and global activities/projects.
