Job summary

PT. Prima Solid Energik is seeking a Planning Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling, and control across construction, EPC, mining, oil & gas projects. You will develop master and baseline schedules, update progress, and report to management.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years in planning roles, proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6, and strong Excel skills. Willingness to work on-site as needed and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3 years' experience as Planning Engineer or Project Control Engineer on construction/EPC/mining/oil & gas projects.
• Knowledge of planning, scheduling, monitoring and controlling concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of critical path, float, delay analysis, resource loading and recovery.
• Strong Excel skills with Pivot Tables and lookups.
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, communication and coordination.
• Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
• Willingness to be placed at site/project as required.
• English reading technical reports; PM or Primavera P6 cert valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Master Schedule / Baseline Schedule, Detailed Schedule, and Weekly & Monthly Schedule.
• Conduct progress measurement, progress reporting, and create S-Curve analysis.
• Perform manpower and equipment loading and develop Look Ahead Schedule.
• Execute progress updating, schedule analysis, and tracking against actual progress.
• Conduct delay analysis and schedule recovery planning.
• Analyze planned progress versus actual progress and identify potential project delays.
• Prepare periodic project progress reports and present data to Project Manager/Management.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Site/Field Team, and Project Management.

About you

Proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6

Knowledge of critical path, float, delay analysis, resource loading, and schedule recovery concepts

Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Pivot Table, lookup functions, and data processing capabilities valued

Analytical thinking, problem solving, communication, and coordination capabilities

Ability to work with targets and deadlines

Willingness to be placed at site/project as required by the company

English language communication skills for reading technical documents and preparing reports valued; Project Management or Primavera P6 certification valued
