Job summary

PT Arsitek Arupadatu is seeking an experienced Construction Manager/Project Manager to oversee on-site operations in West Jakarta on a contract basis. You will coordinate teams, manage resources, and ensure projects meet safety, quality, and budget targets while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and mastery of site management practices in Indonesia, with English fluency and relevant certifications viewed favorably.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager or equivalent senior on-site management role in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations and health and safety compliance requirements in Indonesia
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants and contractors at all levels
• Proficiency in site management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines and budgets
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Relevant certifications in construction services (such as SKA/SKK certification) are highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily site operations and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, timelines and budgets
• Managing and supervising site personnel, including labourers, tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinating the delivery and storage of materials and equipment, optimising logistics and minimising waste
• Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets required standards and specifications
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to communicate progress, address concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Maintaining comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, progress records, timesheets and safety logs
• Implementing and monitoring health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel
• Identifying and managing project risks, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating issues as necessary
• Preparing accurate cost reports and tracking expenditures to maintain budget control
• Arranging site meetings and toolbox talks to ensure clear communication amongst the team

About the role

This is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing all on-site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
