Job summary

PT DBG Technology Indonesia is seeking an experienced PCB/SMT repair engineer to support electronics manufacturing. The role emphasizes SMT/DIP troubleshooting, repair, and driving quality improvements through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automation or Mechatronics, strong IPC-A-610/IPC-620/IPC-7711/7721 knowledge, and proficient Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of PCBA/SMT repair experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on SMT/DIP troubleshooting and repair.
• Good understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and common SMT/DIP defects.
• Root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-7711/7721 knowledge.
• ESD protection requirements and 5S practices.
• Microsoft Excel skills including formulas and data analysis.
• Good communication, teamwork and reporting skills.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.

Minimum 5 years of PCBA/SMT repair experience in electronics manufacturing.

Strong hands-on experience in SMT/DIP troubleshooting and repair.

Good understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and common SMT/DIP defects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Good knowledge of IPC-A-610 and preferably IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-7711/7721 standards.

Good knowledge of ESD protection requirements and 5S practices.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including formulas and basic data analysis.

Good communication, teamwork, and reporting skills.

Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
