Job summary

Asthanesia is seeking a packaging development/QA professional to lead standardization of packaging specifications and drive cost-saving initiatives. You will collaborate with R&D, Purchasing, and QA to ensure high-quality, sustainable packaging for a food and consumer goods portfolio.

Experience with high-speed packaging lines, printing processes, and cross-divisional SOPs is required, with a strong track record of delivering measurable improvements in F&B or FMCG settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field.
• 3–5 years of experience in packaging development or packaging QA in F&B, FMCG, or bakery industries.
• Proven track record in cost reduction projects and standardizing packaging specifications.
• Experience testing and commercializing packaging materials on high-speed lines.

Responsibilities

• Establish packaging quality standards and tolerances with vendors to minimize defects.
• Develop and standardize technical packaging specs for primary to tertiary materials.
• Lead cost reduction and value engineering without compromising quality.
• Create a sustainable packaging roadmap while ensuring shelf-life and product quality.
• Ensure materials are compatible with high-speed machinery through trials.
• Develop SOPs and ensure cross-divisional process compliance with QA, R&D, and Purchasing.
