Job summary

Bobobox seeks an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple Bobocabin properties in Indonesia. You will translate strategic goals into efficient operating practices, delivering outstanding guest experiences and driving operational excellence through data, people leadership and continuous improvement.

You will lead revenue growth collaborations, optimize costs, and build strong relationships with landlords, partners, vendors and local communities while planning manpower

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality.
• 3+ years in hotel operations, including multi-hotel management.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with PMS/HMS, POS and Google Workspace.
• Strong planning, organizing, data analysis and KPIs.
• Experience developing SOPs and coaching/ training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability.

Job description

As Operations Manager, you make sure day-to-day operations across our Bobocabin properties run consistently, efficiently and to a high standard. You turn strategic goals into smooth operating practices, deliver great guest experiences and drive operational excellence through data, people leadership and continuous improvement.

What you will do:

Revenue & growth

• Grow group-booking revenue with the Sales & Strategic Partnership team, from preparation and pre-arrival to on-arrival and post-arrival.
• Maximise up-selling and cross-selling (add-ons, experiences, ancillary revenue).
• Work with the Special Project team to build new revenue streams through affiliates and new markets/channels.
• Monitor market demand, competitors, customer insights and site conditions with the Market Validation team, and propose preventive or corrective actions.

Guest experience & cost control

• Maintain service consistency and SOPs, and keep the complaint ratio low.
• Monitor and prevent operational cost leakage, and work with local vendors to optimise costs.
• Protect assets by prioritising preventive over corrective maintenance.
• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including landlords, partners, vendors and local communities.

People & reporting

• Plan manpower and manage shifts effectively.
• Coach the team and maintain discipline, productivity and operational stability.
• Prepare weekly data-driven performance reports and progress updates on programmes and initiatives.

You will fit in this job if you:

• Have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in hotel operations, including managing multiple hotels as Hotel Manager or an equivalent role.
• Are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Are experienced with Property/Hotel Management Systems (PMS/HMS), Point of Sales (POS) and Google Workspace.
• Are strong in planning, organising, data analysis and using KPIs to make decisions.
• Have experience developing SOPs and policies, improving service quality and delivering coaching and training.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.

Placement:

Any Bobocabin location across Indonesia (North Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara or North Sulawesi). The role may involve periodic transfers or relocation based on business needs.
