Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia seeks a Procurement Coordinator to support end-to-end sourcing for mining operations in Papua New Guinea. You will work with operations, logistics, finance, and suppliers to source goods, manage POs, monitor delivery, and ensure governance and compliance.

Two coordinators will align with the corporate procurement office, the logistics hub, and remote mine-site activities to maintain uninterrupted supply, optimize costs, and monitor supplier onboarding and performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce or related.
• 3–5 years procurement experience, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and governance.
• Experience using ERP procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good commercial acumen with supplier negotiation and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase requisitions to PO issuance, delivery, receipt, and close-out.
• Review requests for completeness and compliance with procurement policies.
• Source quotations and perform market comparisons for value.
• Support negotiations on pricing, delivery, and terms.
• Raise and monitor POs using ERP and procurement systems.
• Track supplier progress and expedite critical procurement activities.
• Coordinate PO amendments and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Develop strong supplier relationships and onboarding processes.
• Coordinate logistics, freight, customs documentation, and import coordination.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations to monitor inventory and replenishment.
• Assist Finance with PO/invoice reconciliation and record-keeping.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and cost efficiency.
