Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an IT Support professional in Indonesia to join a global team delivering user support, hardware, software, and infrastructure services.

You will triage incidents, configure devices, manage access, and collaborate with regional IT and vendors to maintain business continuity. The role requires 3–5 years in IT support, Windows and Microsoft 365 proficiency, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Microsoft certifications or equivalent technical qualifications.
• 3-5 years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices.
• Experience managing user access and permissions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with service desk or ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Providing first and second-level IT support to end users.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and end-user devices.
• Supporting networks, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure.
• Managing user accounts, access permissions, and security controls.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Maintaining IT asset registers and equipment inventories.
• Supporting cybersecurity and information security compliance requirements
• Coordinating with regional IT teams and third-party vendors.
• Assisting with system upgrades, technology projects, and implementations.
• Supporting backup, recovery, and business continuity activities
