Job summary

Your Work Shapes the World at Caterpillar Inc. in Jakarta. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will deliver high-quality IT support across regional teams, ensuring business continuity and smooth operations for hardware, software, and end-user devices.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in IT, 3–5 years' experience in IT support, and hands-on expertise with Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and service desk tools. Visa sponsorship is not available; onsite-only role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Microsoft certifications or equivalent technical qualifications.
• 3-5 years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices.
• Experience managing user access and permissions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with service desk or ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Providing first and second-level IT support to end users.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and end-user devices.
• Supporting networks, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure.
• Managing user accounts, access permissions, and security controls.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Maintaining IT asset registers and equipment inventories.
• Supporting cybersecurity and information security compliance requirements
• Coordinating with regional IT teams and third-party vendors.
• Assisting with system upgrades, technology projects, and implementations.
• Supporting backup, recovery, and business continuity activities.

About the role
