Job summary

PT Baruna Dirga Dharma is seeking an experienced crewing coordinator to manage fleet manpower, records, certifications, and regulatory compliance. The role includes crew scheduling, mobilization, onboarding, and documentation for seafarers and marine personnel.

The ideal candidate will support recruitment, handle rotations, and provide reports on costs and availability, while adhering to company standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–3 years of Crewing or Manning Agency experience.
• Proficient in crew management processes and seafarer administration.
• Familiar with seafarer certification requirements including STCW and MLC.
• Experience managing crew rotations, databases and personnel documentation.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage crew planning, scheduling, and deployment to ensure adequate manning levels across the fleet.
• Coordinate crew mobilization and demobilization, travel arrangements, medicals, and onboarding.
• Maintain and monitor crew records, certifications, licenses, and mandatory training validity.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
• Process crew contracts, employment documentation, and personnel records.
• Coordinate crew changes with vessel masters and operations teams.
• Support recruitment and selection for seafarers and marine personnel.
• Monitor crew performance evaluations and training requirements.
• Prepare periodic reports on crewing activities, costs, and manpower availability.
• Assist in implementation of crewing procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

To ensure effective crew management by planning manpower requirements, administering crew documentation and certifications, coordinating crew mobilization and rotation, and maintaining compliance with maritime regulations and company standards, thereby supporting uninterrupted and efficient vessel operations.

Job Responsibilities as follow:

• Manage crew planning, scheduling, and deployment to ensure adequate manning levels across the fleet.
• Coordinate crew mobilization and demobilization activities, including travel arrangements, medical examinations, and onboarding requirements.
• Maintain and monitor crew records, certifications, licenses, and mandatory training validity.
• Ensure compliance with applicable maritime regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
• Process crew contracts, employment documentation, and personnel records.
• Coordinate crew changes with vessel masters, operations teams, and relevant stakeholders.
• Support recruitment and selection activities for seafarers and marine personnel.
• Monitor crew performance evaluations and training requirements.
• Prepare periodic reports related to crewing activities, crew costs, and manpower availability.
• Assist in the implementation of crewing procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements as follows :

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Crewing or Manning Agency. Specific for Tug and Barge and Floating Crane is preferable.
• Strong understanding of crew management processes and seafarer administration.
• Familiar with seafarer certification requirements, including STCW, MLC and other maritime regulations.
• Experience in managing crew rotations, crew databases, and personnel documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to be placed in site location with roster schedule.
