Job summary

PT ABISHAR TECHNOLOGIES INDONESIA is seeking an IT Network Engineer to manage and secure our growing corporate network in Jakarta. You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, while leveraging GCP Cloud VPN, NAT, and Router for cloud connectivity.

The role focuses on monitoring performance, troubleshooting complex issues, maintaining documentation, and mentoring L1 engineers in a dynamic, office-based setting. Bahasa Indonesia and English are required.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years of experience in IT Network Engineer/IT Operation.
• Experience configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches). FortiSwitch is a plus.
• Knowledge of firewall management, VPNs, and monitoring for security threats using Fortigate.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud VPN, Interconnect Partner, Cloud NAT and Cloud Router.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on network systems to ensure security and performance.
• Monitor network performance, analyze traffic and logs, and diagnose bottlenecks.
• Ensure network security by implementing policies and maintaining firewalls.
• Create and maintain network diagrams and update technical documentation.

Job description

Working Arrangement: Full WFO (Shifting)

Required Language: Bahasa Indonesia & English

Requirements:

Min. 2 years of experience in IT Network Engineer/IT Operation

Experience with configuring and managing network devices (router, switch). FortiSwitch brand is a plus point.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 support engineers. Manage and troubleshoot Linux and Windows OS problems.
