Job summary

Daya Wira Performa is seeking an IT Network Engineer to support and optimize our corporate network. You will configure routers, switches, and firewalls, and maintain cloud networking services to ensure security and performance across on-site systems and cloud resources.

The role requires 1–2 years of network-focused experience, familiarity with Fortigate, Fortiswitch, GCP tools, and Datadog, plus strong analytical skills and teamwork. Flexibility for after-hours work is possible.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in IT Network Engineer or IT Support.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols, and switching concepts (e.g., VLANs).
Experience configuring and managing network devices (router, switch). Fortigate & Fortiswitch brand plus point.
Knowledge firewall management, VPNs, and monitoring for security threats using Fortigate.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including CloudVPN, Interconnect Partner, CloudNAT, CloudRouter.
Ability to analyze logs, packet captures, and monitoring data to diagnose issues.
Familiarity with load balancers for optimizing network traffic.
Experience with Datadog monitoring system (+ point)
Knowledge Linux and Windows OS operational.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting complex network issues.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and work after hours when needed.
IT Network Security certifications, including Cisco: CCNA, CCNP and Fortinet: NSE 1, 2, 3, 4 (plus point)

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on network systems and devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
Monitor network performance, analyze network traffic and logs, and diagnose bottlenecks or performance issues.
Ensure network security by implementing security policies and maintaining firewalls.
Create and maintain network diagrams, update technical documentation, and keep accurate records of incidents and configurations.
Escalating complex issues and collaborating with other IT teams for seamless operations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 support engineers.
Managing and troubleshooting uncomplicated Linux and Windows OS problems.
