About the role

PT Mitra Solusi Telematika is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in South Jakarta, Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure network infrastructure to support the company's growing technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN, firewall, switching, and routing environments.

Implement network configurations in accordance with operational requirements and security standards.

Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues or disruptions.

Troubleshoot network problems including latency, connectivity issues, and performance degradation.

Manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and access points.

Perform patching, firmware upgrades, and regular maintenance of network equipment.

Implement network security controls including ACLs, VLAN segmentation, firewall rules, IDS/IPS, and network policies.

Conduct periodic reviews and improvements of network security configurations.

Perform network capacity planning based on traffic analysis and business needs.

Create and maintain network topology diagrams and configuration documentation.

Support ICT projects requiring new network integration or configuration.

Coordinate with vendors and Internet Service Providers (ISP) for network implementation and maintenance.

Handle critical network incidents and ensure service recovery is completed effectively.

Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring incidents.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a related role.

Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of:

TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP

Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)

LAN, WAN, WLAN, and DNS

Firewall technologies (experience with FortiGate is a plus)

Experience using network monitoring and analysis tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
