Job summary

PT Sapta Tunas Teknologi is seeking a network engineer to monitor, maintain, and secure the company’s IT infrastructure in Jakarta. You will diagnose and resolve network and security issues, perform routine patches, and document configurations for reliable operations.

The role requires CCNA and Fortinet NSE4 or equivalent, plus knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and related protocols. Collaboration with the IT team and supporting end users are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in networking or network security.
• CCNA and Fortinet NSE4 / FCP or equivalent certifications.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network performance and security.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and security issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and apply security patches and configurations.
• Document network configurations, security settings, and performance reports.

Job description

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related IT field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in networking, network security, or similar technical roles.

Certifications: CCNA and Fortinet NSE 4 / FCP (or equivalent network security certification).

Strong understanding of networking and security protocols and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), plus security principles and practices (firewalls, access control, VPN, intrusion detection/prevention).

Hands-on experience with networking and security hardware/software: routers, switches, firewalls, monitoring and security tools.

Knowledge or implementation experience in SDN (Software Defined Networking) is a plus.

Job Description:
