Job summary

PT. Berca Hardayaperkasa (BHp) is looking for a Network Security Engineer to install, configure, and deploy Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator, FortiClient, FortiMail) on-site in Jakarta.

You will monitor security performance and troubleshoot VPNs, NAT, and SD-WAN. The ideal candidate has 1-5 years in network security, with a Diploma/Bachelor's in IT/CS/Telecom and strong TCP/IP, VLAN, and routing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in Network Security, Security Engineer, Network Engineer, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLAN, routing & switching.
• Familiar with Static Routing, OSPF, BGP, NAT, HA, and SD-WAN.
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate configuration and firewall policy management.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy Fortinet security solutions, including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator, FortiClient, and FortiMail.
• Monitor network security performance, availability, traffic, logs, and security events.
• Perform troubleshooting for IPsec/SSL VPN, routing & switching, NAT, firewall policies, HA, SD-WAN, web filtering, and application control.
• Manage and maintain firewall security policies according to company security standards.
• Perform security hardening, firmware updates, patch management, and configuration backup & recovery.
• Handle security incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
• Coordinate with principals/vendors for critical technical issues.
• Prepare UAT and project implementation documentation.

Familiar with Fortinet ecosystem such as FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator, FortiClient, and/or FortiMail.

Knowledge of security hardening and network security best practices.

Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Willing to work on-site and support project/customer requirements.
