Job summary

PT Hydac Technology Indonesia, a HYDAC Group company, is expanding its Sulawesi presence and seeks a Sales Engineer to drive engineering-based sales in mining, filtration, and industrial hydraulics. The role requires strong product knowledge and a proven sales record with extensive Sulawesi contacts.

The ideal candidate will engage customers with consultative selling, coordinate with engineering teams, and travel to project sites as needed to secure profitable contracts.

Qualifications

• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent understanding of filtration and hydraulics products.
• Good computer, technical, and analytical skills.
• Fluent English; other languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering/technical sales activities and provide consultative selling.
• Hands-on system solutions selling for mining, marine, manufacturing, and other industrial sectors.
• Develop sales pipeline, manage sales cycle and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate with branch offices' project & service teams to ensure smooth delivery and after-sales support.
• Maintain customer relationships and monitor payments to ensure healthy receivables.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
