About the Role

Our client, a major player in the manufacturing sector in Depok, is seeking a proactive Reliability Mechanical Engineer to enhance the operational uptime and longevity of their production machinery. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies for predictive and preventative maintenance, analyzing equipment failures, and optimizing maintenance schedules to ensure peak production efficiency. This role is crucial for maintaining the high-performance standards of their manufacturing facility in West Java.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs for critical plant equipment.
• Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on mechanical equipment failures, identifying underlying issues and implementing long-term corrective actions.
• Utilize condition monitoring technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) to predict potential failures and schedule proactive maintenance.
• Analyze maintenance data and equipment performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize spare parts inventory and maintenance procedures.
• Contribute to the design review process for new equipment, ensuring maintainability and reliability considerations are integrated from the outset.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of various mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
