Akulaku Group in Indonesia is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to generate leads among key brands and merchants, incubate onboarded merchants to boost GMV, and conduct local market research to fuel rapid expansion.

You will build long-term partnerships, negotiate deals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize onboarding and retention. Fluent English required; 1+ year in BD or related roles in e-commerce or FMCG preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ year in Business Development, Account Executive, Brand Acquisition, or similar roles in E-commerce/Retail/FMCG.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales/GMV targets with a solution-focused approach.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management for long-term partnerships.
• Strong data management and analytical skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Generate and acquire leads by targeting key brands and merchants through market intelligence.
• Manage and incubate newly onboarded merchants to improve GMV.
• Conduct local market and competitive research for Indonesia market insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing merchant accounts to drive retention and growth.
• Ensure smooth onboarding by collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.
• Negotiate and build long-term partnerships with merchants and brands.
