Job summary

Weselaja is building its payments platform and seeking an experienced Merchant Acquisition Lead in Indonesia. You will identify, engage, and onboard SMEs and enterprise merchants, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and activation.

As a founding commercial hire, you will influence go-to-market strategy, refine value propositions, and help establish scalable merchant acquisition processes in a lean, customer‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in merchant acquisition, business development, or B2B sales.
• Strong understanding of Indonesia's digital payment landscape (QRIS, e-wallets, VA).
• Proven ability to acquire merchants and close deals; network in Indonesia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and acquire SME and enterprise merchants across Indonesia.
• Manage end-to-end sales process from prospecting to onboarding.
• Build and maintain relationships with merchants and internal teams.
• Gather market feedback to refine product offering and pricing.
• Own the merchant acquisition journey from pitch to activation.
