PT Media Indonusa (Jakarta) seeks a Senior Merchant Acquisition to drive growth of our payment gateway by identifying, engaging, and onboarding high-value merchants.

You will develop and execute merchant acquisition strategies, build relationships with decision-makers, negotiate deals, and coordinate with product and technical teams to ensure seamless onboarding and integration. Requires 5+ years in payments/fintech B2B sales and strong English and Bahasa Indonesia skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in merchant acquisition, sales, or business development in payments/fintech.
• Deep understanding of payment gateway tech, onboarding, and industry best practices.
• Proven track record of achieving acquisition targets in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and events.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement merchant acquisition strategies to expand the merchant base and increase transaction volume.
• Identify prospective merchants through networking, cold calls, presentations, and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target merchant organizations.
• Lead negotiations and close deals with merchants.
• Collaborate with product, integration, and technical teams for smooth onboarding and integration.
• Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and merchant pain points to refine strategies.
• Maintain records of pipeline activity, merchant feedback, and metrics.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
• Provide feedback to internal teams on merchant needs and product improvements.
• Support cross-functional initiatives as needed.
