Job summary

ParagonCorp is seeking an MEP Engineer to review designs, load calculations, and equipment specifications to ensure project requirements are met on site in Tangerang. You will monitor installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations.

The role requires coordinating with Civil and Architectural teams, supporting testing and commissioning, inspecting site progress, and preparing MEP documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in MEP, building construction, engineering, or project management. Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience may also be considered.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, particularly HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Able to read and understand MEP drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings.
• Familiar with basic load calculations, MEP installation methods, testing and commissioning, and quantity measurement.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with BIM software or other MEP-related tools is a plus.
• Good understanding of relevant MEP standards, building codes, and occupational safety requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and commitment to delivering quality work.

Responsibilities

• Review MEP designs, load calculations, and equipment specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Monitor the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems throughout the construction process.
• Ensure MEP works comply with applicable engineering standards, technical specifications, and safety regulations.
• Conduct and support testing and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Coordinate with Civil and Architectural (AR) teams to ensure effective system routing, equipment placement, and space planning.
• Monitor MEP work progress and validate completed quantities to support vendor billing and payment approval.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify technical issues, deviations, and potential risks related to MEP works.
• Prepare and maintain MEP-related documentation, including inspection reports, testing records, and progress updates.
