Job summary

PT. Artha Adipersada is seeking an MEP Field Technician to implement and coordinate electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and mechanical systems on construction sites in Surabaya. You will read shop drawings and oversee field installations to align with architectural and structural plans.

Candidates should hold a D3/S1 in Electrical, Civil, Architectural, or related MEP engineering; fresh graduates welcome. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work in the field, and understanding of MEP

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related MEP Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Able to read and understand MEP working drawings, including shop drawings, layouts, installation details, and coordination with architectural/structural drawings.
• Understanding of Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Mechanical installation execution in the field.
• Detailed, firm, able to work in the field, and understand the sequence of MEP work execution.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand MEP working drawings, including shop drawings, layouts, installation details, and coordination with architectural/structural drawings.
• Understand and oversee the execution of Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Mechanical installations in the field.
• Understand cable types, sizes, routes, cable trays/conduits, and cable installation and termination.
• Understand electrical panel installation, including panel positioning, incoming/outgoing routes, and panel contents/components such as MCB, MCCB, ELCB/RCD, contactors, relays, busbars, and supporting components.
• Understand clean water, wastewater, greywater, and rainwater plumbing routes, including pipe types and installation points.
• Understand placement and installation of lighting, emergency lights, and switches/sockets according to drawings.
• Understand fire sprinkler installation, pipe routes, sprinkler heads, valves, and installation points.
• Perform setting out, elevation checking, positioning, routing, and identification of MEP installation points in the field.
• Perform quantity checking, work progress monitoring, inspection, and coordination with civil/structural teams.
• Identify clashes/overlaps between MEP routes and structural or architectural elements and propose field solutions.
• Create progress reports, work checklists, and MEP work documentation.
