Job summary

PT Lippo Malls Indonesia in Karawaci, Tangerang, seeks a Senior MEP Engineer to lead and develop MEP design for our building projects, coordinating with consultants and internal teams.

You will review drawings for compliance with standards and budget, provide technical input on shop drawings, and drive value engineering while ensuring safety and quality. Willing to perform site visits and support project execution is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in MEP Engineering, preferably with mixed-use/high-rise or complex buildings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD 2D. Knowledge of BIM/Revit MEP would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of SNI and other applicable MEP codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong technical, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills; able to work with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites and conduct regular site visits. English language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop MEP engineering design for building projects, independently or with MEP consultants.
• Review and evaluate MEP designs and drawings for compliance with requirements, standards, budget, and objectives.
• Review and provide input on consultant designs, contractor shop drawings, and submissions for constructability and coordination.
• Identify value engineering and cost-optimization opportunities while maintaining safety and quality.
• Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors, MEP consultants, other design consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical matters.
• Develop, review, and validate MEP calculations and system requirements based on architectural design and standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination and resolve MEP-related issues during design and construction.
• Participate in site visits and project coordination to monitor MEP implementation.
