Job summary

LONGMOTIVE (M) SDN.BHD. in Batam is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to plan, coordinate, supervise and execute ACMV/HEVAC works on MEP construction projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, safety, and targets.

You will review shop drawings, method statements, BOQ, lead RFIs, perform QA/QC on site, and coordinate with subcontractors for testing and commissioning, while maintaining accurate as-built records and ensuring PTW compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience in construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise ACMV/FDS works on-site.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs and schedules.
• Coordinate construction sequencing and site progress.
• Prepare shop drawings, method statements and BOQ.
• Coordinate RFIs with consultants, clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct site QA/QC for ACMV and FDS installation.
• Maintain safety controls and PTW compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors/subcontractors for T&C and IST.
• Ensure as-built documentation is complete and accurate.
• Close punch lists and non-conformances.
