Job summary

PT Posco Indonesia Jakarta Processing Center is hiring a Marketing Support (Export-Import Logistics) Junior Staff in Karawang. You will coordinate import activities, prepare documents, and liaise with suppliers and forwarders to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have a diploma in International Trade or related field, with at least 1 year in import operations and fluent English. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this entry-level role.

Qualifications

• Diploma in International Trade or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all import activities related to steel coils from overseas suppliers.
• Prepare and review import documents (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, origin certificates).
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, trucking and shipping agents for timely delivery.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays, damages or clearance issues.
• Ensure compliance with import laws, regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of import transactions and logistics activities.
• Collaborate with related departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Stay updated on changes in import regulations and customs procedures.

POSCO-IJPC is a leading supplier of quality steel for industrial materials, and playing a significant role in the manufacturing business in Indonesia. POSCO-IJPC provides a value added steel cutting service through our advanced shearing, blanking machine and slitting machines. We sell and distribute many type of steel coils to reputable industrial manufacturers and their vendors. We supply a wide range of steel coils from several mills mostly from South Korea. Due market growth our company is seeking energetic and dynamic person to fill this position.

Your New Role Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute all import activities related to steel coils from overseas suppliers.

Prepare and review import documentation such as invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other relevant documents.

Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, vendor trucking and shipping agents to ensure timely delivery.

Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or customs clearance.

Ensure compliance with import laws, regulations, and company policies.

Maintain accurate records of all import transactions, documentations, and logistic activities.

Collaborate with related departments to facilitate smooth operations.

Keep updated on changes in import regulations and customs procedures.

Comply with Company and Safety Procedures

What You'llNeed to Succeed

Minimum 3rd years Diploma Degree in International Trade, International Logistic Management, Economics, or related field.

Fresh Graduates related the job are welcome.

Least 1 years experience in Import operations, preferably in steel coil industry is a plus.

Deep understanding of international shipping management, customs clearance, logistic operations and import regulations.

Fluent in English (both written & spoken) is a must, and proficiency in Korean is a plus.

Attention to detail, communication skills, teamwork skills, good interpersonal relationship and strong organizational skills.

Proficient in administrative data management and advanced Excel

Willing to work in Karawang areas.
