Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor degree in any major, preferably from maritime school.
• Minimum 0–2 years experience in shipping.
• Fluent in English both oral and written.
• Knowledge of shipping, customs, export, import, agency management, and computer literacy.
• Achievement orientation, customer service orientation, continuous improvement, interpersonal skills, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Plan operational arrangements for assigned vessel calls based on vessel schedules and operational requirements.
• Monitor vessel movement and operational activities from pre-arrival through sailing.
• Monitor completion of required operational arrangements and follow-up with relevant parties.
• Receive vessel appointment, ETA information, and operational instructions from principals/general agents.
• Coordinate required vessel information and documents with principals, customers, and relevant parties.
• Coordinate vessel arrival notifications and berthing schedules with relevant parties.
• Arrange required pilot, tug, mooring gang, and other vessel services.
• Prepare and submit required pre-arrival documentation to relevant authorities.
• Coordinate vessel in-clearance with CIQP, port authorities, surveyors, and other relevant parties.
• Monitor vessel loading/discharging activities and coordinate with relevant parties.
