Job summary

PT. VIKING OFFSHORE in Batam seeks a dynamic Sales & Marketing leader to drive sales of VA products across marine, onshore and offshore sectors in Indonesia. You will coordinate with the Asst.

GM and Group GM to craft proposals, ensure specifications meet company scope, and work to meet sales targets. The role requires maintaining client relationships, guiding the sales team, and liaising with product principals on cost reduction and performance.

Qualifications

• Sales and marketing of all VA products in Marine, onshore and offshore industries in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Review and work with Asst. GM (Indonesia)/Group General Manager on sales enquiries for the estimating team to generate the sales proposals and quotations and ensure that the specifications offered to our customers are within the scope of the company
• Ensure that sales targets are met
• Maintain excellent relations with clients and understand their needs
• Ensure that customer requirement is adequately conveyed to the Project & Engineering and Accounts Department
• Support Sales team in products sourcing
• Provide coaching and guidance to the Sales Team on securing order
• Supervise and monitor Sales Team’s performance to help ensure consistent quality on delivery services
• Liaise with product’s principal on cost reduction programme for manufactured materials & overall performance cost
• Oversee co-ordination within department on relevant operating procedures and make suggestions for improvement relating to the Sales Team
• Prepare sales plan and pipeline for MD/GGM/AGM (Indonesia)
• Initial Customer complaint report to ensure that all complaints are properly and efficiently dealt with
• Conduct annual appraisal exercise for the Sales Team
• Conduct Sales meeting and meeting with MD/GGM/AGM (Indonesia)
• Any other associated tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time
