Job summary

PT Klub Nautika Indonesia is seeking a Marine Sales professional with a strong interest in the marine industry and excellent communication skills to join our team. The role involves identifying potential customers across yachts, shipyards, and vessel operators, building lasting relationships, and recommending technical product solutions.

You will learn product specifications, present features clearly, and coordinate with technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in a mechanical, electrical, marine engineering, naval architecture, or related field.
• Experience in sales, especially Technical/Engineering sales or marine industry, is advantageous.
• Basic technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, marine equipment, or vessel systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to conduct customer visits, site visits, and vessel/shipyard visits as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop potential customers in the marine industry (yacht owners, boat owners, shipyards, vessel operators).
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Learn specifications, functions, and applications of marine products offered.
• Explain product features and benefits clearly, covering commercial and technical aspects.
• Conduct product presentations and introductions to customers as needed.
• Coordinate with technical teams to address customer requirements.
• Visit vessels, shipyards, workshops, and customer sites to assess on-site conditions.
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting to quotation, negotiation, and after-sales follow-up.
• Monitor market developments and identify new business opportunities.
