Job summary

Marine Power System Indonesia is expanding its commercial team and seeks a Sales Engineer to drive growth across Indonesia. You will develop new business opportunities with shipyards, shipowners, vessel operators and marine companies, while building lasting relationships with customers.

Your role includes regular customer visits, understanding requirements, preparing quotations, and coordinating with technical and management teams to support projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sales/Business Development experience.
• Experience selling to shipyards, shipowners, vessel operators or marine companies.
• Existing network within marine/shipbuilding industry is advantageous.
• Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, target-oriented and able to develop new customers.
• Willingness to travel for regular customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with shipyards, shipowners, vessel operators, and marine companies.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and identify upcoming projects and market opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare and follow up quotations, proposals, and commercial negotiations through order confirmation.
• Develop and manage both existing accounts and self-developed customers.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular project updates.
• Coordinate closely with technical and management teams to support customers and projects.
