• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering required.
• <5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or production engineering.
• Experience in machining, welding and process development preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD/CAM experience is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer with less than 5 years of experience to support production operations and process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing routings, supporting manufacturing activities and continuous improvement. This role requires close collaboration with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

• Develop, review, maintain manufacturing routings and work instructions.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and sequence of operations to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure routing accuracy in ERP/MRP (Oracle) systems.
• Support engineering changes and implement routing updates accordingly.
• Establish manufacturing standards and process documentation.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and productivity improvement projects.
• Conduct root cause analysis using problem-solving methodologies.
• Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Drive initiatives to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• <5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in machining, welding, and manufacturing process development is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing routing and process flow development.
• Understanding of machining operations and tooling concepts.
• Understanding of welding processes and inspection methods.
• Familiarity with testing and validation processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CAD & CAM software is an advantage.
• Understanding of Standard API Spec Q1, API 6A, API 17D, ASME Y14.5.
