Job summary

Formulatrix in Salatiga, Indonesia, seeks a hands-on manufacturing engineer to develop, configure, and optimize CNC machining processes for machined parts. You will assess manufacturability from 2D drawings and implement innovative processes to improve production rates and output quality.

The role includes introducing new products into mass production, creating technical documentation, controlling costs and timelines, and performing PFMEA/DFMEA risk assessments to prevent failures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Have experience operating CNC machines (milling, lathe, laser, bending).
• Able to interpret 2D drawings for manufacturing needs.
• Proficient in CAM and CAD software.
• Understand the selection and application of cutting tools (cutting parameters).
• Able to develop jigs/fixtures for machining process needs.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
