Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Group HR Manager for a multi-site manufacturing group in Jakarta. You will standardize HR frameworks across headquarters and facilities, ensuring compliant labor practices and KPI-driven performance management.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Indonesian labor regulations, 3+ years in group-level HR, and fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, and English to align with Chinese expatriate leadership and local teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Law, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR and General Affairs experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or group-level HR position.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor regulations, employment contracts, industrial relations, and workforce compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Chinese expatriate employment, work permits, and cross-cultural workforce matters.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written, is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, standardize, and implement group-wide HR policies across subsidiaries and manufacturing facilities.
• Design and implement KPI, performance evaluation, and performance management frameworks for leadership levels.
• Lead talent management, organizational development, and succession planning.
• Serve as the primary HR liaison between Chinese expatriate executives, plant management, and local HR teams.
• Oversee expatriate employment administration, including contracts, permits, and immigration requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor regulations and company policies.
• Guide management on PKWT, PKWTT, termination, and employee relations.
• Lead plant-level HR teams across multiple facilities and standardize reporting.
• Support industrial relations, labor disputes, and union-related matters.
• Coordinate communication between Chinese expatriate management and local staff.
