Job summary

XPND Indonesia seeks a Sales & Business Development Manager (Mandarin Speaker) to drive growth across ESS/BESS, data center, and electrical infrastructure sectors in Indonesia. You will lead B2B sales, acquire new customers, and manage commercial interactions with China HQ, EPCs, and strategic partners.

The role requires 8+ years in relevant sales roles, fluent Mandarin, and strong negotiation skills, with willingness to travel for client visits and project work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in B2B technical sales, sales engineering, or business development.
• Proven track record in new customer acquisition and closing deals.
• Experience selling technical or engineering products and solutions.
• Fluent Mandarin with ability to communicate with China HQ.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in ESS/BESS, data center, and electrical infrastructure.
• Manage end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Coordinate with EPCs, IPPs, distributors, and strategic partners.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales forecasts.
• Support project execution and daily operations in Indonesia.
• Coordinate with China HQ on commercial and project matters.
