Job summary

GreenEarth Ventures Indonesia in Sorong Town seeks a motivated Management Trainee to join our team. This full-time program develops future leaders by rotating through operations, finance, HR, and commercial activities while reporting to senior management.

You will build a broad understanding of our business, contribute to sustainability projects, analyze performance data, and participate in management meetings. Relocation to Sorong is required for the duration of the programme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, economics or related field.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Indonesian language skills are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and adapt to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support senior management in developing and implementing strategic initiatives across operations.
• Rotate through departments to gain broad exposure to functions including operations, finance, HR, and commercial activities.
• Assist in analysing business performance data and preparing management reports.
• Contribute to planning and execution of sustainability and community projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams on key business activities and process improvements.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions.
• Assist with development and communication of company policies and procedures.
• Participate in management meetings and contribute ideas for optimisation.
• Monitor key performance indicators and business metrics.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned by senior management.

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Management Trainee to join our team in Sorong Town, West Papua. This is a full-time position designed to develop the next generation of business leaders within our organisation. As a Management Trainee, you will gain exposure to all aspects of our business operations, working across multiple departments and reporting lines to build a comprehensive understanding of general management practices. This role is pivotal in developing your capabilities to take on increasingly senior management responsibilities. You will work in our Sorong Town office, experiencing first-hand the unique challenges and opportunities that characterise our operations in this dynamic region.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and identify insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Indonesian is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and build relationships across different levels of the organisation
• Proactive and self-motivated with a genuine eagerness to learn and develop professionally
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Flexibility and adaptability, with an openness to working in a dynamic and evolving environment
• A commitment to sustainability principles and corporate social responsibility values
• Willingness to relocate to Sorong Town, West Papua for the duration of the programme
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
